Researcher in Quantum Technologies & Cybersecurity at SENAI CIMATEC, founding mentor of the national quantum technology center QUIIN – Quantum Industrial Innovation – and of LAQCC – Latin America Quantum Computing Center, the center that launched the first industrial quantum applications emulator in Latin America, KUATOMU. PhD in quantum communications, graduated in 2022 by Heriot-Watt University, Edinburgh. Following his PhD, Alfonso continued his career focused on quantum technologies, with the pursuit of a postdoctoral research position for satellite quantum communications. Alfonso then moved to the industry to lead the construction and development of commercial QKD satellite missions.
