Presentation Information
- The duration of a presentation slot is 25 minutes. You will have 20 minutes for the presentation itself and 5 minutes for questions from the audience.
- A projector, computer, and clicker will be available in the session room for regular presentations. Please bring your presentation on a USB drive as you may not unplug the presentation laptop to plug in your own.
Preparation of Visuals
- PLEASE NOTE THAT YOU MUST BRING A MEMORY STICK CONTAINING YOUR PRESENTATION FILE.
- Files can be uploaded to the local PCs in the lecture rooms during the coffee breaks or at lunch.
- It is your responsibility to put your presentation on the computers in the rooms prior to your session. This may be during a break, lunch, or right before the session begins.
- To avoid software compatibility problems (MS Powerpoint), speakers are advised to EMBED ALL FONTS in your Powerpoint file AND bring a backup PDF-version of your presentation.
- Speakers should arrive in their session room 15 minutes BEFORE the start of your session. Please check-in with the Session Chair upon arrival.
General Considerations
- Limit the number of words per visual to no more than 20.
- Leave space, at least the height of a capital letter, between lines of text.
- Graphs and charts should have bold lines and symbols that contrast sharply with the background.
Rooms
- There are two presentation rooms: Aula Magna and Aula 18. Please check the program to see which room your presentation is is.
